Are you and your students struggling emotionally because of the many challenges in the global scene? Do you want to help in a way that is integrated in your classes and don’t know why?
To facilitate students’ well-being, teachers must be aware of their own well-being. The teacher’s knowledge of self facilitates greater empathy with students.
In this course you will learn the 5 competencies of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and how to implement them in your online, blended, or face-to-face classes. We will discuss different approaches to SEL, good practices for teachers and students, and good examples. Finally you will apply your knowledge and skills in creating a ready to use SEL plan for your classes.
